I'm Back!

Hello Everyone!

I can't believe I am back on blogspot writing blogs but here I am! It has definitely been a while. For sometime I was updating you all through my personal website, however I find that this just works better for me because:
#1 I can update from wherever I am from my phone
#2 It is just easier this way
#3 I get paid more in AdSense...

So that is that! I am back!

I will be updating regularly, and now that I have a new BlackBerry with a camera, I will be able to document my day in pictures for you!

Enjoy!

I Was On MTV!

Well sort of haha. Last week, I tweeted Dan Levy from MTV's The Aftershow because despite normally dressing really well, he decided to do a total comb over with a hat on top, that just didn't look right. As with everything I don't approve of, I tweeted my distaste thinking nothing of it.

At the movies today an old friend walks up to me and says "Did you tweet Dan from MTV last week". I actually had to think about it because I tweet so much I wasn't really sure. "Probably" I said. "Well, you said Dan had a dirty comb-over" "OH YEAH, I did tweet that"

"Well they put your tweet on the show last night! LOL". HAHA I couldn't even believe this was happening for several reasons... 1) I didn't even know people knew about my twitter, yet here they are asking me in public about it. And 2) I definitely didn't think celebrities actually READ their twitters. Crazy! Too bad they didn't choose something nice I wrote because I do LOVE MTV, in fact it is all I watch. I will just consider myself a contributer to the show, rather than a mean critic haha.

Believe it or not, this isn't even my first Celebri Tweet encounter. Heidi Montag has also tweeted me two times. I just roll with the Hollywood crowd (online that is) haha. Read about my tweets from HEIDI HERE.

Last but not least, you can watch my video behind the scenes of the AfterShow on Youtube from the night I attended a live taping of the show by clicking HERE.

Where The Wild Things Are

So I went to see Where The Wild Things Are last night, not by choice, but I still went. When I go to the movies with my friends, more often than not we can't agree on a movie... So we end up taking turns sitting through each others horrible choices lol. Lucky me went to see WTWTA (I am too lazy to write the title out again, despite writing out this massive disclaimer that is significantly longer than the title). ANYWAYS, here is my review:

I had never read the children's book so I really had no idea what this movie is about. Essentially, there is this boy who has a really wild imagination. After getting into a fight with his mother (whom he bites...) he runs out the front door and it appears he has run away from home, although we have no idea how long he is really gone for.

After getting in a boat, then climbing a mountain, the boy meets these monsters in the woods who adopt him as their king. After having a lot of fun, building crap, and jumping on each other, the monsters turn on him when they realize he isn't actually a king and was lying about alleged powers he claimed to have.

Honestly, that is the whole movie. After that he goes home, hugs his Mom and it ends. I really didn't know what to think. Perhaps if you were a child you would be really into the imaginative world that the kid creates, but I really didn't come to care for the little boy at all, which I think was the main fault of this movie. The little boy wasn't cure or lovable at all, but actually a huge ass brat. He freaking BIT HIS MOM for God's sake. Anyways. It wasn't a horrible movie, it wasn't amazing. It was an excuse to sit in the dark and eat 1000 calories of popcorn and butter - that's what it was.

Daily October 21st 2009

Hey Everyone,

So as I stated in my last post, I really want to get back into posting on my blog each day. It is a really great way to connect with people and helps me clear my head before I go to bed. I got up at 7am today, way to early. Dropped my brother off at Durham College, then came back home and got ready for school myself.

I had a meeting today with my Professor, and she was telling me how I can take courses at school without paying for them as long as I don't include them on my transcript. It sounds ridiculous to do work for no reason, however in order to apply to the Masters of Fine Art at U of T, I need to speak another language, so I might actually consider it.

For Lunch I went to Subway with Melanie and had the new flat breads. I admit, they don't look appealing, but in truth they are actually really delicious. I bought a glove at Dollarama to cover in sequins for my Michael Jackson Halloween costume (picture above), then stopped into Shoppers for lottery tickets.

As we speak I am watching The City. I hardly have time for television anymore, but it is nice once in a while to sit down and not have to think or do ANYTHING.

I guess that is all for now!

Greg.

Perfume and Cologne Contest!

I can't believe I have 100 subscribers on YouTube already! This has been so much fun. I love waking up every morning to comments and messages to my YouTube account, it really makes my day!

Posting this video does remind me though, I really need to start updating this blog more often! I used to do it several times a day, but right now it just seems like I am constantly on the go and don't have time to update, despite constantly being in front of the computer screen. I will try to make an honest effort to post more often. I miss it! I really need to update the background images as well. I will probably do it in early December once school is over for the semester.

That is all for now. Make sure you are following me on Twitter, I update that hourly, rather than every few days like I do this blog.

Greg.
